A look into the visual foundation of the collection

Explore the step-by-step process of bringing Garden of Eve to life.

The research stage was carried out between September 2023 and December 2024.

Photography research

“The majority of the research happened in the school library, flipping through dozens and dozens of photography books, albums, textbooks on art movements, years and years of Dazed & Confused, nude photography, manifestos on the body, and, especially, botany books. I spent months studying flowers, their anatomy and the shadows they cast. But then, it was also cool to notice how inspiration truly is around us - sometimes an object I had right under my nose, or things I saw on the street, gave me the most concrete inspiration for pieces in the collection.”
